Who We Are
Our leadership team has decades of experience living and studying in China, England, and the United States. They bring a mix of academic and cultural insight along with expertise providing one-on-one guidance and support for students.
Dr. Wang, Ph.D.
Dr. Wang is a U.S.-based university professor and education consultant with international experience across China, Singapore, Canada, and the United States. Currently a professor at a top-20 U.S. university, she combines academic expertise with a deep understanding of students across cultures. Students she has supported have received offers from Yale, Northwestern, Duke, Carnegie Mellon, Boston University, UC San Diego, and other leading universities.
Dr. R believes the strongest applications begin with genuine self-understanding. She helps students discover their strengths, tell authentic and compelling stories, and pursue educational opportunities aligned with who they are becoming.
Mr. Wood, M.Ed.
Mr. Wood (BS in Business, M.Ed. in Education) has lived, studied, and worked in China, England, and the United States. This firsthand experience across three distinct cultures informs his approach to cross-cultural adaptation, international relocation, and communication. He is a native English speaker with conversational Mandarin proficiency, and is well versed in American, Chinese, and English culture and education systems.
He combines this academic and professional grounding with decades of hands-on insight into the challenges of moving abroad, from logistical planning to cultural adjustment. Whether working with students, families, or professionals, he brings a well-rounded, experienced perspective to every engagement.
